You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any third-party materials used and that required license and attribution information is included.
AI-generated content should be disclosed if it could affect accuracy, trust, or safety.
Copyright or privacy violations may result in content removal and account suspension.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership and Control

You retain ownership of all content you upload, post, or link on Alinme (“User Content”). By publishing on the Platform, you grant Alinme a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, index, and technically process your content (e.g., resize images, create thumbnails) to operate and improve the service.
This license ends once content is removed, except where retention is required for security, audit, or legal purposes (e.g., backups or law-enforcement requests).

4.2 Rights, Accuracy, and Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have all rights, permissions, and licenses to post your content.
  • Your material does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
  • Any third-party or open-source components are used under their licenses and properly attributed.
  • You minimize personal data in your uploads and include others’ data only where you have a lawful basis under GDPR.
  • Datasets or models you share are created lawfully and comply with export-control and data-protection laws.

4.3 AI-Generated Content Disclosure

If content is significantly AI-generated and could influence accuracy or decision-making (e.g., analytical code, evaluations, recommendations), clearly label it as such and include disclaimers such as “AI-generated, not professional advice.”

4.4 Linking & Embedding Third-Party Material

When embedding or linking content from other platforms (e.g., GitHub, YouTube, Hugging Face), you must comply with those platforms’ terms and ensure you have rights to share the material. You authorize Alinme to create thumbnails and previews for better presentation.

4.5 Training & Analytics Use

Alinme does not use User Content to train AI or foundation models. Only aggregated, de-identified telemetry (e.g., clicks or usage metrics) may be analyzed to improve performance.
Any future model-training use will require explicit opt-in consent.

4.6 Moral Rights & Formatting

You consent to Alinme’s technical adaptation (cropping, resizing, formatting) as necessary for display, without implying derogatory treatment.
This clause does not waive any non-waivable moral rights under EU law.

5. Data Protection & Security

Alinme processes Personal Data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws.
We act as the Data Controller for information collected through the Platform and apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

When users share a direct link on their profile or content page, Alinme may append its own affiliate parameters for tracking purposes.
These affiliate programs are operated solely by Alinme; users do not participate directly and are not required to hold affiliate accounts.

Affiliate links and related cookies are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Where required by consumer-protection law, Alinme will include a visible disclosure such as “This link may earn Alinme a small commission.”

Users must ensure that any shared link or description is truthful, lawful, and relevant. Alinme is not responsible for the content, pricing, or availability of third-party sites.
References to services such as GitHub, YouTube, or Azure are descriptive only and do not imply endorsement.

7. Alinme Intellectual Property

All rights in the Alinme Platform, including its software, design, branding, and content arrangement, belong exclusively to Alinme or its licensors.
You receive only a limited, non-exclusive right to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. No ownership or license of our intellectual property is transferred to you.

You may not copy, modify, decompile, or reuse Alinme code, layouts, or design assets, nor build competing datasets or services by scraping or exporting content.

You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without written permission.

By submitting feedback or improvement suggestions, you grant Alinme a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use them without obligation.

If a feature is removed, we will provide, where practicable, an export option for your profile data before discontinuation.

Experimental or beta features (including AI tools) are provided for testing only and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Service interruptions may occur due to third-party providers such as Microsoft Azure, GitHub, YouTube, or others beyond our control.
We are not liable for outages, delays, or data loss arising from such external services or force-majeure events.

For how we handle data retention, backups, and deletion after account closure, see Section 5 (Data Protection & Security) and the Privacy Policy.

9. Liability & Disclaimers

Alinme is provided on an “as is” and “as available”basis without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or specific results.
To the extent permitted by law, Alinme is not liable for losses or damages arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on AI-generated or user content, or the unavailability of third-party services.

You remain responsible for your own actions, content, and compliance with applicable laws when using the Platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under EU or German law.
